This takes a lot of heat out of my laptop. It would however be nice if you were able to sit this on your lap as well as on a hard surface but it's impossible without obstructing the fans.

I bought this before I knew the dimensions of the cooler. All together, it's base is roughly 11-12 inches left to right giving the laptop ample space to fit ontop without toppling, but the fans are nowhere near the CPU/battery/fans/vents on my laptop. My laptop is over half bigger than the base of the cooler. My tip to customers would be to check the underside of your laptop and judge whether this would be suitable for it or not!

I bought this for my PS3 to help keep it cool, it came the next day after ordering in a secure box.
The product itself is basically a sheet of thick plastic that has four raised legs with rubber pads and has three fans that light up blue when plugged in, with a usb lead that has a male and female connection so you can plug it in and plug another usb cable into the fan connection which is very usful for a PS3 as there are limited ports.
On the box of the product it does say that there are either two or three fans which confused me a bit, lol.
A PS3 or laptop fits onto the fan base well with the rubber pads situated in the right position.
There are wires leading from the fans into the base but once the PS or laptop is in place you cannot see these and they wont get caught up on anything. With the lights off it does look very nice lit up and is very quiet so you don't need to crank up the sound to cover it, you can feel quite a bit of a breeze when you put your hand near the fans and I see this prolonging the life of a PS3 and laptop well.
On amazon there are quite a few products that look exactly the same as this one, I think there are just different suppliers, this is the cheapest of them all that I found and I am very pleased with it!

Needed a good cooling product, as my Lenovo does reach some nasty temps when playing games like Dead Island and DE:HR. I had already read that it was quite small, but decided to get it anyway as the price was too good to pass up, so I am not rating it down due to it being a little on the wee side.
It is an attractive little thing, and when plugged in to the USB port, lights up a pretty blue colour, making your laptop look like a sweet modded ride. This really impressed all the ladies who witnessed me rollin' and gave me ample opportunities for some sweet lovin' action. All that is 100% true and not made up in the slightest.
The fans are really quiet, silent almost, but their output of cooling air is almost negligible. They do have good placement though - 1 either side and 1 in the middle - so overall good design. I am giving it 3 stars as I do not think it has done much of a job cooling my laptop and I have had to order a more expensive model, but at the same time is only a few quid and may make a difference for some people not playing modern games on it.
It's not really a case of "you get what you pay for" as it is a lovely looking piece of kit that does raise the laptop up off a surface, but it's minimal fan output hardly touched my temps overall. At the very least, your laptop will get you admiring glances from the blue underglow if you go LAN'ing. I don't do that sort of thing, as big crowds of gaming nerds scares the bejesus out of me as they tend to smell of sweat a lot and say things like "leet" and "I've weed myself."

This gadget is absolutely brilliant and I can't talk highly enough of it! It comes in it's box, ready to go, as there are no need for drivers or the like. It just does exactly what it says on the tin!! Wish I'd bought it ages ago as my laptop used to crash due to overheating. At the price, it is unbelievably good value and the company ship the item in double quick time. Could not ask for more.

The fan cooler was for my laptop, it was very noisy, and the blue light was distracting, but it did a good job of keeping the laptop cool. However after a month it stopped working completely, i contacted the seller and they have to date not responded. I would advise buying a different item, one that will last longer than a few weeks. Disappointed.

Cheap but good
