I bought this book from Amazon and I have to say it is one of the best books I have ever read! I am usually very good at guessing the twists but didn't get this one till quite near the end! Excellent writing, the characters are believable and it will keep you engrossed till the very last page. Melissa Hill is a great writer and I look forward to reading her other novels as well.

That's the best word I can think of to describe this book. I simply could not stop reading it. I had read her first outing, Something You Should Know which was also fantastic so I was very much looking forward to this one. It certainly does not disappoint. There are a number of characters featured here, and each of their stories are as compelling as the next, but Nicola's story in particular stands out as particularly well-written and resonant. Also there is the most unbelieveable twist, which seems to be a factor in this author's writings, and it is only when everything is out in the open that you realise how well it has been done. The book was so good that I really did not want it to end and Melissa Hill is now without doubt one of my must-read authors, along with Cathy Kelly, Patricia Scanlan et al. Well done.

This is the second book that I have read by Melissa Hill (the first being The Last To Know) and I enjoyed both books so much that I have just brought all of Melissa Hill's other books.Having read alot by Marian Keyes and Jane Green I've been looking for a new chick lit author to enjoy and Melissa Hill fits the bill perfectly. Her story's always seem to have a great plot with lots of twist and turns that keep your hands turning the pages. In this book you meet three friends,Nicola,Laura and Helen who all have there own problems and secrets. Then one day Nicola's ex husband Dan Hunt comes back on the scene with soon to be wife,Chloe.Newly engaged Chloe wants to find out as much as possible about Dan's ex especially when he's so secretive about the reason why they broke up.But as Chloe starts digging about in the past old secrets come out not just about Nicola but about all three friends which leaves them wondering who there friends really are after all? A brilliant tale of friendship and secrets that I couldn't put down can't wait to read more from Melissa Hill!
