"Every gal should read this!" -- Handbag.com

From the Back Cover

Not Tonight, Mr Right is a wake-up call for any woman who has
ever woken up the Morning After and thought, "Oops." In laugh-out-loud
detail, bestselling sex author Kate Taylor explains:

* How Oxytocin - the Fatal Attraction hormone - can make women up to ten
times more emotionally attached after sex than men

* Why men never expect to get lucky on the third date, or any date, and the
longer he's waited to have sex with you, the better he'll think you are in
bed

* How women NEVER look for no-strings sex, no matter what we tell
ourselves

* That relationships are more fun, easier and longer-lasting when you keep
your feet on the ground, instead of hooking them round his neck

* That the time to have sex isn't when you think he might slip away - it's
when you know he never will.

This hilarious handbook will help you know, with confidence, when the time
is absolutely perfect to say 'Yes! Tonight, Mr Right'.

Still waiting for the `good man', and having not always been the `girl that waits', I picked this up with interest, (and maybe initially a touch of cynicism), but did however find myself shut away for hours giggling behind the loo door. A very witty, well written, and convincing argument for going back to dating in a good old fashioned way. Maybe someone should suggest handing out this book to sixteen year old girls as part of the curriculum?

So even if your horse has already bolted (so to speak) this is well worth it for the giggle factor.

"Men aren't frightened of commitment. This is something that women have made up to explain away the guys that don't love them. Men do want commitment, but to those who challenge them"

(Taylor, quoting Fran: Not Tonight, Mr Right, 2007, p.158)

This has got to be one of the wittiest and best advice book on heterosexual dating and relationships, I have read , for many years (and I have read a few!).

This is a book with advice that your mother told you, your grandmother told you about not giving in too easily, sexually,in relationships: for those women who want courtship and commitment.

This advice is ancient, and guess what you'll find a version of it across many cultures and yes, across the centuries!

Taylor presents us with the science of falling in love (the chemical oxytocin) and how men and women view sex . Ok, it seems quite obvious, but a lot of us don't listen to what our own gut instincts say about the particular people we meet. Taylor allows us to question and challenge
some of the myths that magazines such as Cosmopolitan give us- it's as if all women are in sexual competition with each other. Also she asks us to challenge bad dating advice: analysing what is exactly being offered to us.

Frankly , if a man isn't interested in you, he isn't going to stay with you, because of what you've learned in Cosmopolitan...... is he?

It's more to do with your own level of self- respect, self- esteem and integrity. That will be projected into your relationships, and as the cliche goes, if you value yourself, others will. Taylor is asking readers to be responsible about what they are contributing to relationships and to themselves. And she's not just talking about contraception, either.

I'd heard about this book from someone else and I ordered my own copy - what a brilliant read! Kate Taylor obviously knows her stuff and it's a relief to read some really good advice about how women can get their man and keep him interested and loyal. Even my boyfriend agreed and said that what she writes about is exactly how men think but are too ashamed to admit - sexually, there is too much pressure on men and women to 'perform, which gives confused messages which can ruin good relationships. It's a stonking read and it made me curl up with laughter too, so thumbs up to Mr. Right! Just love it. More please!!!! Oh, and by the way, my boyfriend has just proposed!

Seriously! And.. it will open your eyes to ALL the dating disasters you've made in the past! So be prepared to kick yourself, several times over, when you realise that you could have done things so differently! Alas..!

But hey, it's never too late to land the man of your dreams, and this book will show you how. I only wish that I had read it 10 years ago.

Kate Taylors' writing style is funny, accessible and very straight-forward. I lOVED it!

Reading this book I realised what I did wrong in the past (quite a lot actually, including sleeping on the first date!) and why it did not work. Kate Taylor's book is well written, witty, fun, like chatting with a girlfriend. Everything is well explained, not just what to do, but WHY and WHAT IF. I am buying two more books, for my sister and my girlfriend - even if you are fine and in good relationships, it is still worth reading.
