This is an attractive and enjoyable little book; packed with everyday recipes, illustrations and stories from the authors ten year stay in Afghanistan.
The recipes are easily prepared and those that I have tried have all worked well and have been enjoyed by both friends and family; this is not the most frequently used cook book on my book shelf but the authors passion for Afghanistan and its food certainly make it one of my favourites.
