Why I bought this product:

When my daughter was around 9 months old, she caught the cold virus and soon ended up with a blocked nose and sore throat. Obviously, she felt uncomfortable with a frequently running or blocked nose and consequently became cranky and fed less. I was feeling helpless knowing that she could not blow her own nose and all I could do is wipe off the dripping nasal mucus (well, she didn't like me doing this). So, I applied some nasal saline drops to loosen the nasal mucus and kept using kleenex whenever it dripped. A bit of browsing introduced me to what I wanted - the Nasal Aspirator. A little more research indicated that Nosefrida was a top Nasal Aspirator. So, I purchased it.

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter (almost a year old) caught a cold again. This time, I used the Nosefrida as soon as I saw her running nose and I was very impressed from my very first use of the product. The Nosefrida is very simple to use, has a simple (though very clever) design and easily sucks up loose nasal mucus from a baby's nostrils. At first, my daughter was wondering what the hell I was doing sticking a little tube into her nostrils. But, when a lot of mucus came out, I could tell she felt instantly relieved. A hygiene filter (a small piece of blue sponge) prevents the mucus from entering your mouth. You can purchase a pack of 20 Hygiene filters, sold separately. Since I've been using the Nosefrida on my baby, she's felt much better during a bout of cold, breathed easier and fed much better. In my use of the Nosefrida, I've not seen the mucus go anywhere near the Hygiene filter and I find it hygienic to use. Of course, you should not suck out the mucus with the same effort you would use to suck out marrow from a lamb bone. A gentle sucking action is more than enough to unclog your baby's nose. The product comes packaged very well in a nifty little plastic box and delivery was prompt.
This is an excellent product which is very easy to use and I cannot recommend the Nosefrida highly enough to free a baby's nose from being clogged.

This is fantastic. My friend sent it to me from Finland. Previously my babies have been crying and wriggling like mad when I have been trying to clean their nose with the other aspirators. This is so good because it fits all nostrils and does not actually get insode the nose, and therefore does not hurt your baby/toddler. I really recommend this to everyone!!

This is a great product easy to use and clean, my baby was so blocked up that feeding was very hard work but the nosefrida was a big help. A must have for winter babies.

does the job...
