"Symantec 3PC Norton Anti Virus + Norton Ghost 15"
Please note that the contents of this box do NOT match the description on the box.
The Box clearly states the following:
1) "3: One year protection for up to 3 PCs"
(3 PCs in one household is mentioned in small print)
2) "Norton Anti Virus 2011 with Antispyware"
3) "Includes Norton Ghost 15"
What this clearly means is that 3 PCs will get the protection of both Norton Anti Virus and Norton Ghost.
However the Norton Ghost Installation CD INSIDE the Box is clearly marked "For use on 1 PC".
This is only visible when the box is unwrapped and opened after purchase.
In my (non expert) opinion this is a violation of the UK Law.
Either the Box should state:
"Includes One PC License of Norton Ghost" (which would be pointless in a 3 PC box)
Or
The box should contain 3 PC Licenses for Norton Ghost.
I have reported this to Symantec.
Quite rightly they upgraded my Norton Ghost License Key to 3 PCs to match the box description.
I have suggested to Symantec that they urgently review their Bundled box packaging and correct this error.
If you purchase this product I suggest that you are entitled to the 3 Licenses of Norton Ghost and should contact Symantec.
As a 3PC bundled deal with both AntiVirus and Ghost it represents a good deal, though personally I wouldn't recommend Norton AntiVirus as a product.
