A real let-down from RockFax, given their normally high quality and attention to detail. This book is full of typos and other more serious errors (routes graded wrongly, incorrect route descriptions particularly for Tremadog and Llanberis). It is actually quite a feat to get so much wrong when none of the content is original - all the routes are of course accurately recorded in the various climbers club guides and the Ground-Up guide to North Wales and all that was required of Rockfax was to collate the better routes. Do not bother with this guide - spend a little more on the Climbers Club guides.
Whilst providing a nice overview over many routes, even the occasional visitor to Wales will soon find that some routes are not very adequately described or depicted, same goes for approaches.
A little more attention to detail really would have made this a much better guide (e.g. it is often not obvious which direction a crag faces and the mini-maps can be misleading, leaving you to look for a south facing crag that is, in fact, north facing).
