Product Description

Riley Olssen is a born and bred Lycan who lives in the quiet suburbs of Valdez, Alaska. Her life is simple: she goes to school, comes home, and shifts in the forest behind her home. When her father receives word that his brother has died, they must return to his home in Sweden to take care of the pack Davin left behind.

Soon after they arrive, Riley realizes there is much more to the small town than she'd ever expected. She discovers that the Lycans are not the only creatures to hide behind a human façade. Falling in love with the wrong Lycan is only one of the problems she encounters. In one day, her life is forever changed, and she must discover her own inner strength because all signs seem to point to a war heading her way.

4.0 out of 5 stars North: The Lycans by Suzanne Fuller 5 May 2014
By Diane Lynch - Published on Amazon.com
Lycan, Riley Olssen, life drastically changes when her parents uproot her from her home in Veldez, Alaska to her father’s pack in Sweden. She discovers a supernatural community she didn’t know existed as well as a life of danger and impending war.

Suzanne Fuller did a great job with Riley Olssen’s character development. Riley’s life goes through many changes. As a reader, it was easy to follow her emotions and understanding of what was happening. Riley is a likable character with many strengths.

I also enjoyed the somewhat Romeo and Juliet (without the dying) relationship between Riley and Jesper. The conflict between the two families made the story all the more interesting. I like that Jesper does what he thinks is right instead of blindly following his family.

North: The Lycans is a refreshing shape shifter story. It has nonstop action that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
