This folding map is from the AA, so you know it's going to be good. Mapping is by IGN, France's official mapping agency, and at 2.8 miles to 1 inch, (1:180,000), the scale is is well within the scope of touring class maps. The legend is quite comprehensive, explanations in six languages, English first header on the left of each symbol.
Both sides of the map are used, a large A-Z listing of place names spreading over the two sides. There are ten city centre maps of the largest towns divided equally on both sides.
When folded, the cover can be wiped clean.
On the down side, as with most folding maps, when using the side against the fold, it's not easy to manage.
All in all, a good buy for the money!

Made the order, choosing cost as a primary consideration. Map arrived quickly, in good condition and detailed road networks, which will allow navigation of roads etc.

We travel a lot in Normandy and I'm stuck with the navigating which means I struggle with the giant map book of France. Then I found this map on Amazon and it tells me everything I need to know clearly - excellent map and excellent value for money.
