The Norman Wisdom Collection also has four brand-new audio commentaries from Norman Wisdom himself, in conversation with film historian Robert Ross. The four films with commentary are: "Trouble in Store" (1953), "On the Beat" (1962), "A Stitch in Time" (1963) and "The Early Bird" (1965). All the discs come with a trailer and English subtitles as standard.

Titles include The Bulldog Breed, One Good Turn, The Early Bird, Press For Time, On The Beat, Man Of The Moment, A Stitch In Time, Just My Luck, The Square Peg, Follow A Star, Trouble In Store and Up In The World. The Norman Wisdom Collection has over 18 hours of content. The Bulldog Breed (1960) The Navy's newest recruit is Norman Puckle (Norman Wisdom). He's no ordinary sailor and that's just as well because he soon finds himself lined up for an extraordinary adventure. One Good Turn (1955) A successful man meets someone from his past who threatens all he holds dear. The Early Bird (1965) Norman is the assistant helping to run a small, old fashioned dairy which is threatened by a larger, modern organisation. Norman does his best to save the dairy (and his horse) and the usual chaos ensues. Press for Time (1966) Norman is quite happy selling newspapers outside Westminster station but his Grandfather (the Prime Minister) wants to get him 'a more responsible job'. On the Beat (1962) Norman wants to be a policeman like his father was, but he fails the height test (amongst others). One day he gets out his father's old uniform and 'walks the beat'. Man of the Moment (1955) A new clerk at a department store discovers that some of his co-workers are conspiring with local gangsters to commit a robbery. This boxed collection of dvds contains all of Norman Wisdom's greatest films.The films capture the genius of one of Britains'finest ever comics at his peak in the fifties and the early sixties.They are true comic gems which will having you laughing for a long time to come!
If you enjoy slapstick visual humour at its best then buy this dvd collection!

norman wisdom/pitkin/shields...whichever character he is playing, norman has kept me in stitches for as long as i can remember. im 20 years old and since being a young child my sister and dad have watched every single film over and over again. none of the laughter has ever run out and he still continues to have me in stitches every single time. i would definitely recommend this box set to anyone who is already a fan or wants to know why he is a comedy favourite of so many. "A Stitch in Time", "On the Beat" and "Up in the World" (a.k.a the window cleaner one!) are amongst my favourites but seriously, they are all the work of a truly legendary comic genius. enjoy....

What more can one say about Norman Wisdom. Its all been said before. He's my childhood and adult all time favourite. What a comedian/actor/singer/musican. Norman has got it all and anyone who see's this genious working just has to admire his honesty in his work. When I think of how easy it is now for actors to make it to the top, I think of how hard it was for Norman Wisdom trudging the streets looking for work and having to prove himself with the rest of the up and coming stars of his younger days. Well done Norman your a STAR.

Norman Wisdom what a delight
