Load this program onto your computer, answer what seems like a million questions and then you are so well protected you will never need to worry again! It updates every time you are online automatically and tells you when your nearly out of licence.
A comprehensive package that does exacactly what is ays it will. Support is at 50p per minute but you can email queries in to be dealt with in slower time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, 16 Feb 2010
This review is from: Norman Security Suite, 1 year licence Edition (PC) (CD-ROM)
Bought this in late 2009. Used the key from the disc and got the latest version from there website (version on the disk is slightly out of date).

Installed with no problems and it has some great features, haven't tried parental controls though.

Found the most intresting was the Screen Saver scanner. If you leave your system idle it will start scanning your computer for viruses (with a animated logo and scan statistic shown on screen). As soon as you move the mouse the scan stop straight away and you can continue what you where doing. When the scan starts again it will start from where it left off. Brilliant idea for those of use that hate the slowdown associated with a scheduled scan.

Also the firewall has a nice option of just allowing an application for the session you are on. In other words, it will not be given access the next time you start your machine. Great for when you are unsure of an application.

With the single issue I've had with an error message appearing. There technical support was most helpfull, with same-day responses to my e-mails.

A great alternative to other Anti-Virus products I've used in the past (AVG, Norton, McAfee). Which often had too many features that where not needed or where very resource hungry (no problems on-line gaming with Norman running).

1.0 out of 5 stars Yet another frustrating security package, 1 Nov 2009

While Norman does provide fairly good protection for your pc, I cannot recommend it to anyone. I've had it installed on three different computers, and the experience has been the same. The chief reason i finally uninstalled it was it's propensity to crash every time I woke the computer from hibernation. This led to a blockade on all network traffic which I could not remove. Other peeves are (the all too common) problem of firewall rules not being set as the user indicates, license handling issues, lacking customizability, and an annoyingly high bug count.
I'm aware that a security suite needs to strike a balance between allowing the user control over the software on one hand, and limiting security vulnerabilities on the other. Norman leans far to the side of caution here, which gets extrememly frustrating for any experienced user.
