Product Description

Review

'I would recommend this text to new student midwives - the book is a good resource to support student learning from practice - especially the reflective activities asking the reader to consider experiences from placement. It is supplemented by suggested answers to tasks presented and so helpful for the year 1 student midwife' -
Celia Yeardley, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Midwifery, Sheffield Hallam University

Bought this because I'm a student midwife.
If you are too, or want to have a really useful book on competencies or NMC skills clusters, think this is worth a purchase.
It has sections for all of the essential skills clusters.
Has lots of information on communication and relates everything to what you need to know for midwifery.
Has helped me lots.
Use it for my essays too.

As a third year Midwfery student I have found this book a really useful consolidation of normal midwfery. Really up to date with great thinking points and a good and current reflection of Midwifery today.
