If you ever lived in any of the areas featured in this book, buy it! It's a treat. I bought it for my husband, but I really enjoyed poring over its pages, too; it's mostly picture based, but there is some fascinating detail about the development of these South London Suburbs, and even though my memories only date back 50 years or so, there are lots of pictures of places I remember. Thanks Raymond Wheeler!
