The "Noon Book of Authentic Indian Cookery" is a highly illustrated culinary journey around the continent of India. Gulam Noon, MBE, is the owner of Noon Products, which produces 3 million chilled Indian meals a month for British supermarkets and export to Europe, Hong Kong and the Middle East. Sainsburys supermarkets now account for more than 70per cent of Noon Products' business, with Waitrose, Safeway and Somerfield also buying Noon curries. The Noon Foundation, founded in 1995 with a donation of ?4 million from his personal assets, provides funds for local, national and international causes.
