Very clearly laid out maths exercises in appropriately bite sized chunks - great for getting my step son to regularly review his maths, identify weakspots and build his confidence. A wide range of exercises in which maths basics are applied in a broad range of every day contexts. Answers on a 4 page pullout section just in case your child is inclined to seek easy options! Thoroughly recommended book which makes helping your child a painless experience for both parties!

These are great books - straight to the point - spot on as far as the curriculum is concerned. Lessons are 2 pages which is just enough and they repeat to build and consolidate knowledge. My kids very happy with them.

Okay we have tried loads of maths workbooks and we always come back to Bonds' for both maths and english as I feel they are the best. I prefer the quality of paper its printed on, it has a free website with extra worksheets if there is something your child needs extra help on and i love the way everything is set out in the book. Everything feels well spaced out on the page which isn't too scary for the child when they first look at it. I would recommend Bonds workbooks over any other.

This series of papers are a great introduction to home learning and 11+ preparation. Unlike the other Bond papers which are set out as test papers and take approximately 40 minutes to complete, these papers are designed to be done in about 10 minutes and in short chunks. We think they are great!

Bought this for my 9 year old brother. It is very helpful with all the examples as well as the 'How did you do' bit at the end of every section, giving my brother a sense of independence and achievement. Has helped him significantly with Maths.

No nonsense as it says on the tin! A good book to help enhance what they already know but also covers some exercises that will help in the 11+ exam. Will get the 10-11yrs one too!

Really well organised into subject areas. I'm absolutely thrilled with this one! I'd recommend this to anyone! I'd buy the whole set, if it was available.

I bought this for my 6 year old as she struggled to do the Maths 6-7 Test Papers so I thought I would take her back to basics. There was plenty of variety in the exercises and she definitly improved. She enjoyed the exercises and was happy to do them. The only thing is, after finishing the book I still don't feel she is ready for the Test Papers. The Test Papers are really very challenging for a year 2 pupil, who whilst bright is not especially mathematically minded. Perhaps there needs to be a No Nonsense Book 2!
