I originally bought a cheaper oximeter, widely available through several sellers. It was flimsy, hard to read, and it failed within days. This is so much better. It feels like a nice solid little bit of equipment, not a flimsy cracker toy. It has a display that lights up and is easy to read. It appears to be accurate. The better quality, ease of use, and clear display has encouraged my partner to use it more.
Well worth the extra money. I am so pleased the first one failed and pushed me into getting this one instead.

I bought this for work. I now use it several times a day, and wonder how I managed without it before. It is so useful to assess all respiratory and cardiac patients - but particularly COPD exacerbations, and children. I would recommend it to all GPs

This is a really nice piece of kit and gives a clear reading almost instantly. But, out of five I bought, one failed inside a year and a second has just failed after 18 months. Not a good record and frustrating for a fairly expensive item which I expected to last a lot longer.
