I will start off by saying that these headphones look and feel great (in comparison to solo), they feel more sturdy and in my opinion lok alot better. They have a really classy and understated look and they dont really stand out too much. If you want headphones that stand out in the crowd I would suggest the Souls by Ludacris. As for wearing the headphones they can be uncomfortable (however I have not owned the headphones for that long and I would say dont let this put you off and let them wear in and get use to how they feel)

Now to the important stuff, the sound quality. I will begin with sound leakage which is a big problem for the solos and studios, as for these I have been told and heard and I can say these headphones are a massive improvement with only the smallest amount of leakage at full volume. I think this is due to the different shaped ear cups to the other headphones mentioned. So these are perfect if you commute on public transport and dont want the entire bus, train etc to hear what you are listening to.
Now I will comment on the sound, for a start dont listen to the review about them being tinny because that is not the case, I admit for nokia headphones they dont sound amazing on the nokia lumia, however this is due to the lack of an eq on the phone. However stick them in a mp3 with an eq and they sound brilliant, they are not as bass heavy as the solos and have a more balanced sound through the range. So if you like you songs that are bass heavy then but the solo hd but if you like bass which is not overpowering then these are far better. The mids and vocals dont get drowned out by bass and they produce a far better sound. Also if you have not good quality music then this makes a massive difference too.

Also to note these headphones dont sound amazing straight out of the box, this is because they need running in for roughly 15 hours. I would suggest putting them on at 1/2 volume to not over work them, this will therefore allow the drivers to loosen and produce a better sound. I can say that you will notice the difference after they have been run in and sound as good if not better than the more expensive solo hds.

However all this is just my opinion and at the end of the day it all comes to your preference for sound, I am just doing this review to state my view on these headphones. I will also do an update after a few months and see if my opinion is still the same. I hope this review helps you in your purchase.

I was really impressed with the sound quality of these headphones and I would recommend them to others.

The only minor complaints I would have with them are firstly, when I wear them for a long period of time (i.e. more than 1.5 hours) my ears hurt somewhat but then again I've never had headphones that I like enough to keep them on that long so maybe this would be an issue with others too!

Secondly, the control button on the cable to switch between phone calls and music or turn on/off music doesn't always work when first pressed which is a bit of a pain. Be interested to here if others experience this same issue so I know whether it's a general fault or just with mine.

I have owned this product since there release date, the price is fair as they perform the same as Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD On ear which cost excess if �160. they will work for any phone not just windows ones I even use for my computer which you get another cable for. It uses standard 3.5mm jack.
