Nokia 100 O2 Mobile Phone on Pay as you go / Pre-Pay / PAYG (£10 airtime credit) - PinkVery good phone. It contained the £10 credit on the sim. But I switched sims, to make sure a Tesco sim would work in it. Unfortunately, after that the sim card would not work kept getting "Insert Sim". The card would not work in my old O2 phone either. But a different sim worked in the phone so it was not the Nokia 100 at fault. I chatted to O2 on "chat" to a guru on their website and he sorted it out and is sending me a replacement sim. (free). I avoided the telephone number they gave because it was 0844 at 5p a minute! The chat was free. Apparently, I read in the reviews of the black Nokia 100,and on the Nokia 100 support page, if you use a different sim the settings get corrupted/altered by the new provider, and you cannot go back to 02.
So good marks to 02 for sending it, and VERY good marks to Nokia for sorting it out by having the problem listed on their support pages.
The phone is a delight. I found the back came off easily if you apply a fingernail in the manner of mending bicycle tyres. The pink is a nice pink, sort of coral and I am very pleased with it as a spare but have not been able to use it much yet due to no credit! Five stars- oh and they provide headphones for the radio AND the three pin plug has a telescopic third prong, to keep it small for packing. Intelligent and neat.......a good buy.In fact I am wondering whether to keep it as a main phone. Do I really need more than this provides?
