This is a really great and useful little product. Sound is loud and very good quality considering the size of the speakers, only problem is that the speakers seem to depend on having fully charged batteries. If the batteries are not fully charged then the sound quality and noise are reduced quite a lot. But the batteries do last quite a while anyway so it isn't too much of a problem.

Wanted something small and practical to use with my Nokia 5800, something that could provide a good quality sound that I could take on holiday without taking up too much room in my case..save having to lug a stereo through the airports! I had 3 Nokia options to choose from and opted for the MD-8 and glad I did, it was exactly what I was looking for. Small, well packaged, great cable management, and (once I found the on/off switch!) it gave a great sound too, good bass levels and a fair volume for such a small and essentially inexpensive speaker. 5stars! x

There's no danger that these speakers will blow you away, lets face it powered by three AAA batteries high volume output could never be expected. However, if all you want is something to play music whilst you potter round a hotel bedroom then these speakers will do just fine. For a small plastic box the sound reproduction is surprisingly very good indeed.
