Nokia C2-00 Dual SIM Sim Free Mobile Phone - Grey

I bought this phone because I needed something easy and that that has a long live battery..I listen to radio all the time and I have it charge for 3 days.:) It's a good value for money:))

I purchased this Nokia C2-00 Dual SIM Sim Free Mobile Phone from SMART BARGAINS. I asked for express delivery and it arrived promptly within 24 hours of dispatch. Perfect!

I had one problem. The box's security seal had been broken but all the contents were present and everything looked as you would expect for a brand new product. Everything worked as expected but the "broken seal" concerned me.

I contacted SMART BARGAINS about this and got a reply in 33 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly, 33 minutes. Excellent customer services. I wish all Amazon sellers were this good! I have included their reply below.

I have not needed to get back to them as I have no problem with the phone, charger, battery or ear-bud/microphone. It is everything I expected and meets all my needs. Superb phone from a very good seller. My seller feedback reflects this. I will say however that, having a broken seal does leave them open to accusations, albeit unjustified.

As for the phone itself it does have 2 problems. The music player clicks twice between each track and can be a little annoying. It does mean that listening say to Dark Side of the Moon is impossible. Tracks that merge into each-other DON'T on this phone. That's a software issue that hopefully Nokia will rectify. The ear/headphones connect on the top of the phone which I find much more sensible than side mounting. It's a 3.5mm connection. so I can use my better quality earphones if I don't want calls to interrupt my music.

The battery life is excellent if you use only one sim, but having two sims inserted does eat your battery. I get about 72 hours standby instead of the claimed "up to 460 hours". I will add though that I live out in the sticks where coverage is weak so the phone is working harder to maintain contact. Fortunately for me, my old Nokia had the same battery so I have a spare which I charge in a DiGiBaBa desktop charger base that my phone charger plugs into. Search words below.

There are options to this, e.g. compatible or genuine battery pack, and 2mm or 3mm charging tip. The Nokia C2-00 is a 2mm.

The number 1 reason for buying this phone was the fact that it is a dual sim phone. Both sims show on the screen and you can preset which one you use to phone/sms out on or you can choose on each call. When you are using the phone on one sim you cannot receive a call on the other sim. Only one at a time. I believe more expensive models can do this and you can have phones which can have more sims than this. I will say one thing with respect to them; battery life!

I'm often in places where mobile signals are weak or non-existent so having two sims from different providers increases my chance of maintaining contact with the outside world.

If you want super quality photos/video don't buy this phone. If you want a PHONE that is a phone with good functions then you can't go far wrong.

the phone doesn't always have signal as low quality also the sound doesn't always work i recommend you don't purchase it.
