Reprieve, return to resplendent service :)ere favourable, beautifully designed headset with sensible easy to use headset controls.
Good efficient BT pairing protocol between the headset and my android tablet and very good sound quality. Then clunk! The power just went, could not turn on anymore. Could be a dud battery, but I dont know, the battery is inaccessible (a weakness that I was not previously aware of) or a dud power switch. So after less than 1 month it will be going back, hopefully replaced or money back.
Nokia, you need to get good quality material and construction back into your once formidable product equations!
Update: May 2012
My mistake, I had only to inspect the power connector jack was seated properly in the headset!!! It charges up properly now and has performed gloriously ever since :) I take it all back, although Nokia could at least have made a better click-and-go connector.
A concern that has arisen from all this, is that it would benefit from having a removable battery, I cannot for the life of me understand why you would want to discard a whole headset of this quality just because the battery has popped its clogs, what a totally wasteful and un-eco-friendly concept! I also have a premium headset from Sennheiser to fall back on, but that doesnt in any way diminish the need to maintain a good Nokia headset for as long as possible.
