This is the dual sim version of the Nokia 106, but apart from dual sim aspect there are a few differences here.
On the 107 you have a bigger capacity 1020 mAh battery, giving an even more beefy standby duration which was quite outstanding on the 106

You also get a micro SD card slot which is an important difference, this can take cards up to 16GB in size. If you're a music listener this is the one to go for over the slightly cheaper single sim (but still quite good 106)

Overall impressions are pretty good, esp at this price point. Dual sim is the obvious attraction, it's still a basic phone in most ways but the price is right and it's hard to argue with what's on offer

My conclusions good/bad are:

Pros:
+ Well priced, good cost effective simple phone
+ Build is quite good really at this price plastics are solid enough and the screen doesn't feel vulnerable to damage
+ Cracking battery life, even better than the 106, lasts for weeks on standby
+ Screen is quite clear and easy to read (even in brighter light), it's a simple 1.8" 160 x 128, with 65k colours (114 ppi) display
+ Has a radio and a built in torchlight
+ Keypad is dust and splashproof (not waterproof) and I can say in use I have not had any issues despite the odd bit of rain at times hitting the keypad. It doesn't pick up dirt either and feels responsive to the touch
+ Call quality is good I find the sound clear and the mic quite acceptable (nobody has complained they can't hear me)

Cons:
- No camera, nothing at all.

Every now and then one needs a phone to use in a concert or in a more dodgy situation, where one might find himself too fond of using the beloved smartphone. For those situations, this little phone might do the trick.

First of all, the (simple) design looks quite good, actually. It's very plain, but I specially like it because there's no unnecessary port or hole of any kind. All you have is what you need. The keyboard is one single piece, which makes it dust and splashproof. Again, great for more demanding situations. Unfortunately, it doesn't look amazingly resistant, and the back does look quite scratch-prone. To avoid it you can always look for a pouch (that you probably have at home) and, for a plus, the upper part of the phone appears to vibrate quite a lot, in what appears to be a measure to dissipate any vibrations when it falls.

In my opinion, the strengths of this phone are:
- Coming with the essential: you pay little, and you aren't bloated with useless or non-working features. The extras, such as the reminders, are a lovely addition.
- The mp3 player, and the built-in 3.5mm jack! The sound quality is quite reasonable for mild tracks, but it tends to make noises if the sound is too sharp.
- The dual SIM feature: you never know when you'll need that second extra slot. Also, it has dual standby, so you'll never miss a call. Again, a good feature for this price.
- Fairly good sound quality. You won't hear people say they can't understand you.
- A click in the red key and you check time, date, sound mode (whether it's in silent or not), and any missed call or message; a decent locked mode.
- You won't have any problem looking to this in the sun; it's a really readable screen.
- The battery life is amazing!

Well the phone just arrived and, embarrassingly, I hadn't realised I'd bought a dual SIM Nokia - duuuur. I quickly realised my rookie error (not sure how I could've missed that as it's mentioned quite prominently in the description!) and found an old SIM to use.

The phone works brilliantly, it arrived really quickly, in great condition and I'm very happy with it. I use a Samsung Galaxy as my main phone but needed a reliable, simple little spare for people to call me on for business purposes. I just needed something basic that I could make calls with and send texts. And a Nokia was the obvious choice. The thing I love about Nokias is that the charge is phenomenal and you can bash them around - and they'll STILL work!

Quick and simple to set up, looks fine, does the jb, price is great - Boom!

Ever wanted to make a call just to find that the battery has depleted? And you know that you've charged the phone the day before.... Frustrating!! And these occurrences happen when you need them most... Murphy's Law.

So whilst smartphones are getting larger and speedier by the day, there still is a market for the traditional no frills alternative. I personally find this phone so reliable and use it primarily when travelling or going to the beach! It is meant to make calls and send text messages, and it does excel in that respect.

The staggering 24 day battery life is the star of the show. Combine that with solid build quality and portability and no wonder why the Nokia 107 is such an appealing phone. It also sports a very clear and vivid colour screen, albeit tiny at 1.8 inch.

Highly recommended to anyone seeking a cheaply priced phone that can withstand some serious abuse whilst providing great call quality and an everlasting battery life.
