4.0 out of 5 stars Technical know how 9 Feb 2007
By J. Wild
Format:Paperback
Kunzru effortlessly captures the controlling quality of technology and mankind's search for perfection and answers in this collection of short stories. Having read this from the Penguin 70th anniversary box set, this is one author that struck me with his unusual approach and ability to question the future using humour in what would otherwise be absurd settings, if you didn't know that somewhere someone is probably already doing it. However his writing does not confine itself to the 'science fiction' genre as, with it's modern suburban settings and mundane charcters, it feels more like technology is a theme in an otherwise odd piece of fiction.

I will now, having dipped into his work, search for others to dive into.

I suggest you do the same
