Format:Audio CD
This is an import album aimed at all european countries (except France). You can find on this CD, a compilation of the 4 first albums of noir désir. Of course, you can have a good first impression while listening to this album but I would recommend to listen to (or buy) a real complete album such as "Veuillez rendre l'âme (à qui elle appartient)" or the last and fabulous "666 667 club" because I believe the songs have even more value in their original album... Noir Désir have been influenced by The Gun Club, the Violent Femmes, Fugazi... You will find two duo songs of Bertrand Cantat (lead vocal of Noir Désir) with 16 Horsepower on the last version of "Low Estate" : "Fire Spirit" a Gun Club song and "The Partisan" (beautiful version) a song not written but previously sung by Leonard Cohen.
