I approached this album as if it was the holy grail of electronic albums after some of the glowing reviews I'd read in various places and was overjoyed to be able to download it at a reasonable price. On first listening I was underwhelmed to put it mildly, but on further listens it's charms became apparent. Tracks 1 and 2 have elements of Berlin School electronics, but also bring something new to the table, this is not just retreads! Tracks 3 and 4 are also pretty good, but not quite up there with the first two. Which brings me to track 5, which was disjointed, noisy (but not in a good way!) and too long, and that's what's brought the rating down in my view.
