Product Description

NOCTURNIA - BOOK TWO in The Murkmyre Saga. A world where only the insane dare to tread. Prince Voltron Murkmyre is on the run (again). After his attempt to usurp his mother's throne fell into utter chaos, he and his dogsbody slave Plip must now avoid one million angry, unpaid Heklan warriors. The wrath of the Lady Tyrants (the bonkers Supreme Galactic Empress, the foul-smelling Queen of the Skanxian corsairs and Voltron's deranged sister Pestilencia) is also a matter of some concern. There is only one place in the entire galaxy left to hide - Nocturnia, a terrifying world of nightmarish beasties, where only the insane dare to tread ... Another silly, fast-paced space fantasy, starring the corrupt and irrepressible Prince Voltron Murkmyre. Nocturnia continues the cataclysmic events of Murkmyre - Book One in The Murkmyre Saga.

From the Author

So here we have 'Nocturnia', the follow-up to 'Murkmyre'. It's darker, I think. I wasn't having the best of times in my life when I wrote much of the content. The high body-count may be a good indicator of this. However, I'd like to think the humour is still there, despite the above (along with excessive amounts of vomit and gore). And it is still very, very silly. Anyhow - go see for yourself. Hope you enjoy. xxx.

Witches and witch doctors, tyrants and terrified slaves.

Aliens that range from the fearsome to the feeble.

Nocturnia is about as left-field as sci-fi/fantasy gets - if you enjoyed the previous book in the saga - Murkmyre - you'll love this as it' is more of the same. Insane. Buy it !!!!

Dark but very funny. 17 Jun 2010
Format:Paperback
A strange read indeed. Dark but very funny. Maybe things WILL end up this way. I like.

Nocturnia is pretty offensive - and all the funnier for it. There's a lot of smutty references, and very silly humour. Very British s.o.h. RECOMMENDED !

A handy synopsis at the front of the book helps you get to grips with the Murkmyre Universe. After that, it is madness all the way. Revolting, hilarious, offensive. As funny as Book One ((Murkmyre) but darker, as some of the other reviews have indicated. I'm woried about the author's mental healthh !!!!!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
