Book Description

He's west coast, she's east coast. He's a famous actor on a popular V show, she's a suburban soccer mom. They seem like complete opposites, and yet get along very well, and their feelings for each other are definitely real. So what's the problem? Only the geography, the nature of Kinsey's job, the home Jenna's providing for her son.... In other words, what ISN'T the problem?

(Note: This is not your grandmother's tied-up-with-a-bow fairy-tale romance. It's a 'relationship novel' with a more realistic--yet still uplifting--ending.)

1.0 out of 5 stars LOOKING FOR A ROMANCE, WELL THIS ISN'T IT 29 Feb. 2012
By Reader TOP 50 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Divorced mum meets well known LA actor in a book store, they seem interested in one another, but can it go anywhere.
The author states this is not so much a romance, more of a relationship story. Personally I don't care what she calls it, I just could not see the point to this. The characters are emotionless robots, there is no passion, chemistry or fire here. If you check out the cover showing a broken heart, that's not even accurate to this. The characters are too cold to have any such thing as a broken heart. This is a slice of two peoples lives over a few short months. Totally uninspiring and clinical. I don't know why the author bothered. I want to be taken on a journey when I read a romance, not left with the feeling what was that about, seriously don't bother with this.

3.0 out of 5 stars Different ending 18 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Well the author did say that this was not your run of the mill romance, and I found that out when I read the ending. Not a bad read, and it was a free download. Was great that it was a light hearted romance with no heavy explicit sex content, some authors go OTT on that and gets so boring - after all when you've read one sex scene you've read them all! An enjoyable few hours read, and yes it did keep you captivated wondering what was going to happen.

2.0 out of 5 stars Worst Ending Ever 15 Jan. 2012
By facsteach - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
This was an ok/pass the time read as you are waiting for the big aha moment that never happens and the ending ruins it completely. The authors note says it is a non-traditional romance. Yeah it isn't about romance at all. It is hard to call something a romance when all the main characters do is eat and watch movies with her 13 year old. Not even worth 99 cents.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Novel 2 Sept. 2012
By John Bergeron - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
There are two reasons for finishing a book in a day. It is a good novel that simply can't be put down, or it is a short novel. This is both. It held my attention right from the beginning. I believe the author's goal was to make this a realistic relationship between two people who care for each other and that's why I liked it so much.

1.0 out of 5 stars romance? 22 Feb. 2012
By S. L. Morris - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
someone forgot to explain to this author what a romance is. a couple of dates and a lot of casual emails do not a romance make...oh and the absence of a happy ending kills any chance of redemption.
