I enjoyed this book but the constant mistakes began to grate.
Their instead of there, your instead of you're, were instead of we are. I wish these books were checked before uploading.

Like all of the novels Tom Immins writes, this was no different! Yet again, I couldn't put it down and thoroughly enjoyed the adventures of Mr Lucas.

I have had the pleasure of 'meeting' Tom on Twitter and thoroughly enjoyed the first Sam Lucas book. A great read, even if the grammar was incorrect in parts ;-)

I am looking forward to reading more Tom Immins books.

I must admit to being very new to the concept of reading on a Kindle. Even more so trying to decide what to select and download. This book was selected partly because of the price and I do enjoy crime thrillers too. The content of plot, characters etc is OK. I wouldn't rush to read another but I have read worse books. What I really couldn't understand was the abundance of spelling and grammar mistakes. Sometimes there were as many as three obvious mistakes per page and quite literally dozens throughout the book.The use of there, their and they're seemed to be a complete lottery.It just looked to me that the book had been churned out without being proof read.It really ruined my enjoyment as I started to look for even more mistakes. I apologise for being negative but I honestly felt that I could have written it better.

I downloaded this book onto my kindle & found it hard to put down. The story is fast paced, keeps you hooked & has really good characters. I did sometimes get confused between the present & popping back to the past, which goes on a lot so perhaps chapter headers with dates & year would have helped, other than that I would thoroughly recommend this book to other readers who like thrillers. I look forward to the next Sam Lucas book, Czech Mate.
