About the Author
Emily Christie has campaigned for justice for sexual abuse victims and gained the qualifications she was too traumatized to work for when she was at school. Now thirty-one, Emily still has physical injuries from her childhood, and is unable to work, but she is happy to be a stay-at-home mum with her beautiful daughter, Sophie. She lives in Scotland.

This was one of the most disturbing books i have ever read. It just goes to show that there are some extremely evil people in this world. Emilys grandad is evil beyond belief. its a m biracle that she is still alive and sane today. a disturbing yet very, very good book.

oh wow what an amazing book,its well written and such a page turner,emily christie i salute you,what an amazing women to come forward and tell her story,i cannot comprehend what this little girl went through and its unbelievable thats she is still here,you should be able to trust your family especially your grandparents and what emilys grandad did is so horrifying and disgusting i cannot put it into words,you all have to read this book.

How Emily survied this i will never know, she is an amazaing woman and i credit her for writing about the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of her monster grandfather. I felt physically sick reading some of things he did to her. Her grandfather manipulated her fears to his own benefit, he is an awful man. This however is a book that i am pleased to have read i believe its opened my eyes on what can go on behind closed doors, i would recomend this book to anyone.
