REVIEW FOR THE POODLES FANS...
First,I want to thanks again to my friend Gianny Painkiller,that made me as gift some money to can buy this Cd-Dvd album "No Quarter" of The Poodles band,and also I want to say sorry to Amazon team that again I didn't bought this album from their site like I ussualy do,but it was because on this site the product was little expensive for my buget,so I must buy it from E-bay site,where I found it at a little cheap price.
Second,I want to say to all music fans that even if I am not a fan of this band,also they are in my favorite bands list,so I totally recommended this band and this cd-dvd album to all music fans that are in search of new bands.
Third,this band was formed in 2006,in Sweden,by singer Jakob Samuel,ex. drummer of Talisman band,which was asked by the good composer Matti Alfonzetii,Johan Lyander,and Robert Ollauson,and lyricist Sonja Alden,to sing a song called "Night of Passion",and he was such impressed but this song that he asked the drummer Christian Lundqvist,bassist Pontus Edgberg,ex Lion Share band,and guitarist Pontus Norgren,ex.Talisman too,to join him and form a band under the name of The Poodles,late Pontus Ergberg was replace with Henrik Bergqvist.They became famous through that song Night of Passion with which they prepared to participate in their annual music Sweden competitions named Melodifestivalen when they hoped they will win for to enter in the 2006 Eurovision International Music contest,but they didn't,they remained just in the first 10 semifinals,on forth place,but also this song bring them such popularity that this song was certified with platinum,a good push for they to look for a deal with AFM Records house,under which they released their debut album "Metal Will Stand Tall",a song with the same name,with which they done a duet with Tess,from Alcazar dance band,a song which was certified with gold.The genre they used to perform in their next albums,is hard&heavy&glam metal,and they have actually 5 albums,10 singles,1 compilation,and this Cd-Dvd.
Forth,this LIVE album Cd-Dvd "No Quarter",was released in 5 November 2010,under Frontier Records,in different places where they performed,and contain 1 CD + 1 DVD,on the CD are 12 live songs,and on the Dvd,the same,plus some videos,plus some interviews with all the members,images from road,from their reherseals,from backstage and stage too and fans experiences(to note:the Jakob's gesture when he bought from his own money a flower and gave it to one of his woman fans because he was impressed that she waiting him in streets lots time just to see him).
Fifth,their live performance on this Cd-Dvd is a cool one,the song they played are one of the most beautiful they have,the instrumentists shows their best musical abilities,the vocalist shows his vocal abilities through his high acutes,and his way to wear his stage clothes preferring a glamorous style of black,red and white,and also his way to transmit to the fans his erotic side through his gestures from his dance,the lights and the fires effects are cool too,the quality of image and the sound are cool too,and also the fans craziness can be seen on this dvd,the cover of the .The cover of the disc is a cool one,that shows the band logo on a red background on the face side,and the song list on the backside,and inside are the 2 disc,different like design,the disc is the same like the cover,and the dvd shows a woman backside, also the album contain a mini booklet too with members images,and a letter with their thanks to their close peoples,finnaly an album that deserve to be in a rock collection.
Six,I detailed the song list that appear on this album,but not in the right order,but in my own preference song order,as:

"The Poodles" Live: Incredible live performance plus pyrotechnics, costumes and backgrounds- this is GLAM METAL ALIVE

"In the flesh/No quarter" is a CD-DVD combo capturing the Swedish glam metal band "The Poodles" live in their home country, in support of their 3rd, latest to date album "Clash of the elements" (2009). It is common practice in the industry that bands market their first live offering after the release of their third studio album; and in many ways 2010 seemed to be the right time for "The Poodles" to release theirs. Specifically their 5-year presence as a recording artist ensures a robust back catalogue of songs that the band explores on stage. For that matter, all their domestic/European chart hits are included: "Night of passion", "I rule the night", "One out of ten" and "line of fire".
For those that have not seen "The Poodles" play live (including the reviewer), this DVD very much verifies that the band are rocking in a really hard manner and are equally comfortable displaying not only their hits but also their heaviest material such as "Thunderball", "Seven Seas" and "Flesh and blood".
Now concentrating on the visual aspect, one is glad to admit that "The Poodles" have planned, executed and captured this event as best as possible. First of all, it is an outdoor show, with a fairly large stage and strong presence of audience (incredibly spanning from metalheads to teenagers-to families with small children). And from there onwards one gets possibly all the elements one misses in today's concerts: stage pyrotechnics, changing backgrounds, alternative costumes and a huge drum kit, all of which make the DVD a real eye candy for any glam/hair metal fan or 80's hard rock lover.
As far as audio and visual performance goes the band delivers: Jakob Samuel is the ideal glam frontman who excels in style, pose and vocal attack. Henrik Bergqvist goes through all guitar parts effortlessly whether that is a three note lead or a full-shredding solo. Finally the rhythm section of Pontus Egberg and Christian Lundqvist are as solid as on record. As a matter of fact this live recording does not deviate much from the "Poodles" sound captured in the studio, therefore there is no loud bass or devastating drumming commonly found on live recording, instead the band manage their sound as close to the studio quality as possible.
Overall it really does not matter if you are a die hard fan of the band or completely new to their sound; "In the flesh/No quarter" captures a group of talented, mature and fit glam rockers handing out hits, glamorous style and all the stage show and extravaganza that comes with it. Essential for all fans of glam/hair metal (such releases do not come by often at all).
