Seriously blown away by this album and just came across this review as I was adding the image to my creative player for it as its essentially one of my top 10 most listened to albums still after 3 years. Get all the e.p's too as all the b-sides etc are equally amazing and you can get them on marketplace nice and cheap. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 2 Sep 2003
This review is from: No Push Collide (Audio CD)
Let me start by saying that Serafin's debut album is one of the best albums of the year, if not the decade. The band performs with a sort of raw energy, remaining surprising and original throughout. Tracks are varied and interesting, all holding up a consistent level of quality without descending into mediocrity.

From the lighter "Peaches from Spain" to the sublime yet dirty "No Happy", you can't help but fall in love with Serafin's refreshing approach to the genre. Incredible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible debut for Serafin-No Push Collide, 18 Aug 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: No Push Collide (Audio CD)
Serafin have destroyed the competition with their debut release 'No Push Collide'. It's a extremely impressive album combining strong 'pop' songs with heavy guitar grooves. It surpases the 1 dimensional albums released lately, bringing the listener through a veritable orgy of sound. With the heavy & dark 'Steven's in the Sky' opening the album followed by the poptastic singles "Day By Day" and "Things Fall Apart", it introduces an alternative rock feel with big bold hooks. The highpoint of the record has to be track 4, "No Happy", this bluresque monster will make Serafin huge. That's if the sensational "Lethargy" doesn't pull a "Teen Spirit" smash first. The rest of the album is just as encapsulating. Album of the year for me. 10/10
