Gaudi's international-flavored dub takes NO PRISONERS, and the thick bass of "Bad Boy Bass" only proves this beyond a shadow of a doubt. Michael Franti offers his vocals to "There's Enough," but his lyrics remain somewhat muted, though the jazz piano makes up for it. "Back To Baia" has a low house flavor to it, while "Oud We Think We Are?" takes a quick detour to the Middle East for some funky breaks. And are those bagpipes I hear in "Hotel Caledonia"? Well, that's unexpected. "Strictly Goodness" steps into church before breaking back out, and "No More Blood" ends the album on a heavier note. Good, though I wish that the ethnic influences could have been integrated better throughout the album.
