More than the strength of any one poem you really get an accurate fealing of what life in LIverpool was like during the Thatcher era for Craig and a lot of other people in the North too. Many of the poems are good some are excellent and others are okay. If you want to find out about Craig in his pre-Lister days this is a definite read. This book is also an excellent read if you're a Red Dwarf fan or not. I hope his auto-biography is as good.

As a huge fan of C.Charles, this is a rare chance to see the more serious side of him whom many know as a comedian. I felt his sharing of such personal poetry was enlightening and courageous on his behalf. I thouroughly enjoyed each and every poem in the book. I would definitly recommend this book to any Red Dwarf fan as a peek into the soul of the real Dave Lister.
