About the Author

He is the author of numerous books, including Getting There: Steps Towards a Green Society, 1990; Green History: A Reader in Environmental Literature, Philosophy, and Politics, 1994; and Babylon and Beyond: The Economics of Anti-Capitalist, Anti-Globalist and Radical Green Movements, 2005.

Rural communites and Green Party

Not much of Green information makes its way to people living in Rural America and when it does it is meet with much misunderstanding and given a cold shoulder. When I found out this book was published I knew I had to read it and share it widely. Many people want to do something to Be Green and I believe reading this book is an excellant way to get started. The historical information in this book is wonderful and I hope it will clarify much of the misunderstandings, giving a greenprint on how to keep moving forward.
