I found this story to be as exciting and interesting as her other books that I have read. It would be hard to pick a favorite as they all were a great read. The author knows how to keep the story flowing smoothly and at the same time captivate the reader's interest. I am looking forward to her future releases. So happy to see her titles out on Kindle. No Illusions

Part of the reasons we love fiction novels and good movies is for the pure escapism, to sort of leap into another world for a few hours and take a break from our everyday lives. I found No Illusions to be a nice break. I loved how Ms. Ormand developed the character of Wes. He came across as being gorgeous, and sensitive without being wimpy. He was the perfect blend for me. It would be great to be pursued by someone like him. Ellee embodied the hesitant female, afraid of the ramifications of taking their friendship to the next level. She is more modern in her thinking than most romance heroines, but I found that to be a refreshing change. Instead of the man in the story being the hesitant one, it is the female. The book was well presented, an easy read, and did I mention the sex was absolutely sizzling?

Not even the man she has come to call her best friend. In her opinion, sex ruins a good friendship, and she isn't willing to ruin her friendship with Wes. She needs him too desperately to lose him to some silly notion of romantic love. She's been hurt too badly to ever take a chance on that sentiment again. For the past four years, Wes has been her closest friend, her confidante, the only person in her life who keeps her from being totally alone. But Wes isn't willing to wait any longer. Four years is a long time. Frustrated, he takes a chance and makes the move that may well push her away from him forever.
