Subtle, simple, haunting!,

I thoroughly enjoyed this album; my only complaint being that it should have been followed, within a year, by something more stylised/adorned/adventurous et al. The record company should have had the courage to back Beverley Martyn to the hilt! Had they done so, this first album (well, first album for many, many years) would have sold as a retrospective addition to a more advanced, commercial format. Why will no one give this truly talented woman her due??? To those who have not yet experienced 'Stormbringer' and 'The Road to Ruin',I can only commend them to you as exceptional albums! Beverely was ever the match for John Martyn!
