Product Description

CD Description

Daniel has put together an amazing collection of beautiful songs that touch on different genres but keep true to the kind of Real Music Daniel believes in, and all sung and performed from the Heart. The album was born in the hills of North Wales using talent from the local area who all helped to make this the heartfelt, sometimes heartbreaking and emotionally filled album that it is. Produced with the young, but extremely talented Richard James Roberts, the album has exceeded all expectations and despite its limited budget has produced a sound to make even the biggest studios sit up and listen. Daniel has had full control from conception to final disk, every note, sound and beat has been chosen with care by Daniel. These are from the heart and you can hear that from the first track to the last... If you liked what you heard before, well, as they say in showbiz, you aint seen nothing yet! This is Daniel, this is Real Music, sung as it should be, with Heart, Soul and Passion...

About the Artist

After making an emotional impact on the XFactor TV show back in 2008 Daniel has been working hard bringing his unique brand of heartfelt music to new audiences around Europe. He has performed on the number 1 charity single Hero, selling over 800,000 copies in the UK and in 2009 completed a sell out Nationwide arena tour, 34 dates playing to over half a million people in the UK's best venues such as London and Dublin's O2 Arenas, Manchester MEN and the legendary Wembley Arena plus many more all over the country. Every TV show and arena show has been an adventure...and also a learning process for Daniel vocally and musically, working with some of the best arrangers, producers and vocal coaches, not to mention some amazing musicians along the way. Now Daniel is back to doing what he does best; writing, playing and singing how, in his words, a good song should be sung, with Heart, Soul and Passion... From Daniel - Music is something that has always been in my life from a young age through my father who was an amazing singer, a Tom Jones tribute artist, he would tour clubs in the UK and for years I used to play keyboards and sing backing vocals in his band. It was not until he passed away over 15 years ago that I began singing professionally and eventually took over in the band, singing and playing a lot of my fathers songs. I eventually moved to Spain and the music took a back seat while I tried to start my own business. I was always writing material but I did miss the performing. But then in 2008 I had the chance to audition for the XFactor TV show in the UK. It was not until the XFactor show that I was able to perform on the big stage and to show people what I could do, and to a viewing audience of 14 million every week too! I've had the most amazing experience through the show and the tour and now I'm lucky enough to have recorded and be able to perform what I believe are truly amazing tracks, and do it my own way with my own arrangements. Be it Swing, Jazz, Classical or disco, my motto is, if your going to sing a song, then sing it like you mean it...I want my audience to feel the songs, not just hear them...and I hope this album touches you as much as it has me and many others so far...thank you to everyone one who has supported me...this is for you... - Daniel x Find Daniel on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter or on his web at www.danielevansofficial.com

I've had the pleasure of hearing the full album and I must say, I can't wait for my copy to arrive.
It's an amazing collection of real songs,.... real music for those of us that still appreciate it!
There are several standout tracks for me, `Maria' with Snake Davis on the sax is very good, the title track, James Ingram's `No Easy Way' is also great (although those of us than know Danny may have hoped for `Just Once' instead!), there is an excellent arrangement of The Calling's `Wherever You Will Go', Snake Davis makes another appearance on the classic Bobby Caldwell tune `What You Won't Do For Love' (can you tell, i'm a fan of the sax!) and the album finishes off with a great version of `Somewhere Down The Road'. Those are just my personal favourites, the rest of the album is pretty damn good too! Daniel has even managed to put the dreaded autotune to good use on the interlude track.
All in all, this is a very listenable album, whatever your musical taste, and if you love great music sung with passion, you will love this.
If your only experience of Daniel Evans is through the X Factor, you owe it to yourself to give this album a listen.
