5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent album yet again from Petra, 31 Aug 2007
This review is from: No Doubt (Audio CD)
There are thoughts from some fans that Patra have gone down hill since their nineteen ninety album Beyond Belief, but I am not one of them. Actually, in my view the Petra guys just keep on getting better and better and it is a real shame that they have now finally disbanded after over 25 years of brilliant ministry!

And one of the greatest albums is No Doubt. I think the guys wanted to try a new sound to connect with more teen audiences, and in my view they succeeded with this brilliant album. So the album starts with the classic Enter In, which is one of my best Petra songs ever. And then the gritty message of Think Twice will make you think. Heart Of A hero dunt half have some blistering guitar riffs dunt it? Terrific stuff along with a powerful lyric. But then comes More Than A Thousand Words, a brilliant ballad with a totally true and honest message. But No Doubt is one of the classic songs of Petras time, its up there with Beyond Belief and All Fired Up and Love and all that! Right Place is a blistering rock track and really fast! Sincerely Yours and Two Are Better Than One I bet will be the songs that come in for the m,ost slack on this album, but again not from me, On Two are better Ronny writes the music so that is sure to make a song brilliant. And Sincerely Yours is a simple but delicious song with a great tune. Think On These Things actually has my fav rift of all time on it! And the final two songs end the album on a serious high for me. A thoroughly brilliant and polished production.

5.0 out of 5 stars great uplifting songs, 23 April 2005

I loved.... this album. I listen to almost all the songs on this album. These songs hold to bibical truths and the songs uplifted me when I was going thru some hard times like the song (no doubt). If you've never gone thru the desert don't buy this album you wouldn't understand it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rock On, 8 Jan 2000
By MT - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: No Doubt (Audio CD)
I was pretty new to Christian rock the first time I listened to this album. I'd heard some of Petra's earlier stuff on the radio and liked it, but now I'm hooked. I like all kinds of Chistian music, but there are times when you just have to turn it up REALLY loud! Check it out if you're a closet hard-rock fan...you won't be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Go elsewhere for your first Petra album, 16 Jun 2008
By Morgan - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: No Doubt (Audio CD)
There are far better Petra albums out there than this one. They definitely started to decline in popularity beginning with this album, and it's noticeable with the sound on the album. The first half is pretty good, but the second half turns into a more-of-the-same every-song-runs-together feel. If you're wanting Petra with John Schlitt on lead vocals, try Beyond Belief or This Means War!
