Product Description

When the light is poor, Nite Ize See'Em turn bicycle wheels from "hard to spot" to "impossible to miss." Easy to attach and reposition and molded of tough, durable plastic, they're backed with stainless steel clips specially designed to snap securely onto oval, round, and bladed (flat) bicycle spokes. A bright, long-lasting LED (powered by a replaceable lithium battery) is activated by a simple twist, and can be seen in even the darkest night to keep you seen and safe while riding your bike. Not only that - when the wheels are spinning, See'Em create the ultra-attention-getting effect of a moving circle of light. Use one or several on each wheel to create your own signature bands of color.

I ride to work almost everyday, and now that the weather is dark and miserable, I wanted something extra to be noticed on the roads of London.
I already have two front 'white' lights, plus two rear lights. I also have one on my back-pack, plus a hi-via jacket. All of these are fine, when traffic approaches you from the front or rear, but noting really shines to the sides - hence why I bought these.
Once you're moving these do offer a ring of light on both wheels. In my case I bought one pair which face my right side (being a UK road rider), but if you will need to buy two sets if you want to visible from both sides (or just stick one pair on one wheel).
These won't stop some idiot from cutting you up on the road, but I'm doing everything I can to be seen.
Would recommend these.

Nite Ize See Em LED 17 Jun 2012
By Ely Glaser - Published on Amazon.com
Colour Name: Red Verified Purchase
I chose these lights as an alternative to TireFlys which I've gotten the impression are in the process of ceasing to exist. These lights may not be as bright, but they're less passive than reflectors, and far less prone malfunctioning than TireFlys. Nite Ize are simple: one battery each (easy to replace), simple attachment, simple operation. I got two sets, alternating amber and red on each wheel. I avoided green just because having a green light on a bike seems counterproductive to encouraging other vehicles to be cautious.

USE THESE WITH SPOKE IT LED AND IT'S ON! 31 May 2012

The SeeEm LED lights are more discreet than other visibility enhancing lights made by nit ize but are a nice accent to increase visibility and "motion" while night riding. My bike looks more like a mobile christmas tree with all the red and green lights rolling around, but it's worth it when cars swerve to clear my space on the road. If you are on a budget, don't bother, just get Flashflight SpokeLit Disc-O they throw more light than the smaller SeeEm's offer. On the other hand if you want to accent already well lit wheels, go for the SeeEm LED's.

Not very bright 2 Oct 2012
By AcornMan - Published on Amazon.com
Colour Name: Red Verified Purchase
I bought these because the spokes on my road bike are spaced too far apart for SpokLit lights. The good news is that they attach to the spokes very easily and stay in place even on bumpy rides. However, they are not very bright at all (not nearly as bright as SpokLit lights, which I suppose is understandable because these are much smaller). I ride in total darkness in the mornings, so I need as much light on my bike as possible so drivers see me. Unfortunately I don't feel like these lights provide nearly enough light to achieve that, even though I had two on each wheel. I suppose you could put a whole bunch of them on each wheel, but that would get expensive pretty fast. If they were a lot brighter, they would be great, but sadly I don't think they provide much safety at all.
