I just received my premium Wii U bundle, and Nintendoland isn't in there. Seeing reports elsewhere of others with the same problem. Anyone else's bundles missing the game? The disc should be there in the normal retail case.
Mine was missing. Amazon wanted me to send the console back but when I objected to that they got me to purchase Nintendo Land on the site and they set the price to £0. Just give them a call and don't accept the total exchange.
Mine was missing too. Pretty annoyed because I booked time off work to play it, and made plans for Wii U party tomorrow! :( amazon were unhelpful on the phone, and are fobbing me off with 'please wait' reply.

I hear this is only effecting Amazon customers? what's that all about? is it meant to be in the console box or separate and bundled together... and Amazon just forgot? (i got the Zombi U premium bundle through Zavvi and luckily was not effected by such a disaster, and that game was in the box)... i fail to see how this could be a fault of Amazon because i assume it would be in the console box... but why still only Amazon customers. I only ordered through Zavvi because of price... i expected the worst on service and delivery dates... but now i cant fault them as everything came early
It's meant to be in the console box itself. We still don't know whether Nintendo forgot to put the game in a certain batch, or whether someone at the Amazon warehouse decided to pinch a few games by opening up the boxes.
I also received my Wii U Premium pack yesterday with the missing Nintendo Land game. I have had to call Amazon 3 times so far each time being told something different. The first time I was told it would be sent out today so I would receive it by Saturday as it is for a birthday tomorrow. I then received an email asking me to contact Nintendo and go through them. Obviously I wasn't happy with this so called back and again was reassured it would be sent out to be received tomorrow. I called again today to check and was told they can't resend just the missing part of the package and to send the whole thing back. So not only had I been apparently lied to by 2 customer care workers but now was told to send the present back and of course the refund wouldnt be in my bank in time for Saturday to get another. After a long time arguing my case over something that is not my fault they finally agreed to a 15% refund so enough to buy a new game but I would have to wait for that to reach my bank next week before ordering again. From the replies above it seems they are all handling this differently I am just glad I checked before opening it tomorrow! Now I just hope my refund does come through. I have always thought Amazon had brilliant customer service but after how they have handled this I'm really not so sure!
just recieved my premium bundle delivered by yodal and low and behold no nintendoland really annoyed just hope amazon can sort it out i really dont want to have to send the whole console back just for nintendoland
All you guys that are like me and are missing the game, are you going to fire the console up and download/play any other games? I have Mario that I bought from Game at lunch there and want to play it and want to download trine 2 also once update done tonight. I am worried that I do all this then i have to send the console back. I really hope we don't have to do that. Thoughts?
So was the box already open when you got it? Surely there's some kind of factory seal or sticker over the flap so you can tell if Amazon opened it before they sent it. Because the game should have been put inside the box by Nintendo I would have thought.
Personally mine was not sealed, just the flap you popped and hey presto. It didn't look tampered with. Thing is, how do they stop everyone saying this, that's what worries me. I opened it with a couple work mates in the office.
Contacted support again, and they now said '24-48 hours from now... we're investigating' and they said that Nintendo had sent them incomplete packages, and they're not able to send partial refunds or supply the game.
They'll accept a full return on the Wii U and nothing else. Pretty ridiculous.
I suspect this will take a long time to clear up. :/
I'm curious to see if this is affecting everyone who bought the Premium Pack from Amazon - mine is due today (out on the van according to the tracker), I am not going to send it back if there's no NintendoLand game in the pack, I could end up waiting weeks for replacement stock and any affected customers have probably been waiting over a year for this console since E3 2011 :)
I'd be happy for Amazon to sort this with Nintendo and send out replacement copies of the game which is how I feel it should be handled - that or refund the cost of the game against the console purchase so we can order a copy ourselves.
Oh dear, I can see Amazon and Nintendo falling out over this. Amazon no longer sell Nintendo products in America because Nintendo sent them a load of DS consoles with faulty hinges, then refused to replace them. Let's hope this wont be the case in UK now as well.
