I thought that this was the genuine articule, however for some reason it doesn't fit the wii rechargable battery set that we have. We have 2 other remotes that work perfectly, however for some reason this one is a bit too snug. I make it work by taping it down, and as a wii remote it works just fine

I was after another set, because believe me, 2 are not enough if you have friends or family round.
Everything works out expensive when bought separately so buying together and saving money is always good for any family that has more than 2 children.
My family are now happy I have more than 2 so the fighting is cut down a tad....lol

This is the Japanese Wii remote and doesn't work properly with European Wii. None of the instructions are in English, not that i need them but it shows that it is foreign. It is difficult to get the wii to reconize the remote e.g i cannot use it as player 1 or have it turn the wii on, i can only add it to use as player 2 when i promt the wiimote menu in game. The speaker sounds 'cheaper' and makes interference noises even with the sound off.
It does work just badly maybe i got a bad one, but none the less it is not a Euro remote and i blame its faults on that.
I advice to buy the properly priced one even though this is the cheapest you get what you pay for.

It was the wii-mote with numchuck. It's a good interface and the combo kit meant it was slightly easier and cheaper then buying them seaperatly.
