To be honest, i was expecting more, my item doesn't look like the item displayed in the picture, and the gold plating is very very thin. Some lines appear on my screen (Sony 32inch) and the game especially looks blurry on wii sports, even with the HD480p option selected. However this is only present on one of my HD TV's (the TV i mentioned above) i tried another HD TV in my house and the picture was so much better, the lines were still present however the quality of the overall image was far greater then both scart and the first TV i tired. Super Mario Galaxy looks absolutely fantastic using this cable.
All in all, this cable is cheap, very cheap against its official counterpart. If you want a cheap component cable for your wii this is perfect, the image overall is much better, however i am very picky with my quality and i will be purchasing the official Wii component cable.

Warning, this cable does not look like the cable in the pictures, nor
is it 'by Nintendo' as advertised. However, it's not the worst quality
cable I've seen and seems to work well without artefacts on my TV. Worth the
£4, just don't expect to be getting an official or high quality cable.

I bought this product on the Sunday evening and it arrived on Tuesday. Fast despatch time - great seller.
There are no instructions and it didnt come in a box, so make sure you know what your buying and how to plug it in - it couldn't be simpler, just change the settings on the wii menu to 480p (HD setting).
I love this product, the colours and detail of the games are greatly improved. I think the quality went from just better than a PS2 to Xbox (not 360) quality.
Its easy to set up - just match up the colours of the plugs to the component sockets in the back of you TV. Its a must if you want the best out of your Wii (although the Wii's best is only 480p output).
I would strongly recommend buying this cable - its well worth it!

Wii Component video cable
