Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

For those a little poky about catching onto the Pokémon craze, this game is a great way for the uninitiated to get their feet wet on Pokémon Pinball. Also, pinball fanatics should not dismiss this as a kid's game, because it's a solid pinball game, regardless of the Pokémon brand. Two Pokémon-themed tables, Red and Blue, are here for players to bounce the Pokéball around in hopes of catching up to 150 Pokémon monsters. The monsters are collected by hitting targets on the pinball tables and, once collected, the monsters can be perused in the popular Pokédex format. Owners of the Game Boy printer can print their prize collections and mount their characters on the wall, if they so desire.

Unfortunately, the monsters collected in Pokémon Pinball cannot be traded with other Pokémon monsters from the Red, Blue, or Yellow games, making this game a stand-alone product. A unique aspect of the game is that it has a built-in rumble pack, which vibrates and shakes the Game Boy system as the Pokéball bounces around the screen. --Jeff Young

Manufacturer's Description

The earth-shaking Pokémon phenomenon has a whole new identity as it couples with classic pinball action. The first Game Pak with a rumble feature from Nintendo. Entire Game Boy unit shakes as players knock a Poke Ball around the screen. Elements that created the Pokémon craze are incorporated into a pinball game; the pinball is a Poke Ball; and Boltorb and Shellder are bumpers.

A whole new way to collect Pokémon--playing pinball. Features a Blue field and a Red field; players must play both to collect all 150 Pokémon--just like the Red and Blue Pokemon Game Boy games. Hit targets with the Poke Ball to collect and evolve Pokémon. Shoot the Poke Ball into Bellsprout's mouth to start the "Catch 'em" Mode. As players become more skilled, rare and hard-to-find Pokémon appear. Every Pokémon is automatically recorded in the Pokedex. Find the bonus stages to rack up a high score and upgrade the Poke Ball to a Great Ball, Ultra Ball or Master Ball to achieve even higher scores. Print out high scores with the Game Boy Printer.

Pokemon Pinball 7 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Pokemon pinball isn't your average pinball game. This game isn't just about getting high scores. Your quest is to catch all 150 pokemon. You are also expected to evolve them as well. However, you travel across different and unique pokemon worlds, in order to add pokemon to your collection. There are also special bonus games to keep you happy. To add to the excitement, there is a rumble feature that comes with the cart, and that makes every flip and bounce even more realistic. Overall, the way Nintendo has combined the game of pinball with catching pokemon is purely amazing. If you own a Game Boy, purchase it now. I didn't give it five stars for nothing.

Pokemon pinball is the best and most realistic pinball game for the gameboy ever! The rumble pack that is included in the game cart. ensures that every time the ball is hit you feel it! It makes the game more enjoyable than normal pinball games coz you can just close your eyes (metaphorically speaking) and imagine that you are playing on a real pinball table. Just like the original pokemon games there is your pokedex in which you store information on the pokemon you have caught. There are two tables in the game both different in both style and difficulty. The blue table is better for beginners as it is slightly easier to play but the red table gives the hardened pinball fanatic a chance to stretch their skills. If you thought pokemon was just for kids think again! This pinball game is enjoyable for players of all ages.
