The very reason I bought my DS

Even without understanding much anything in Japanese, it was the very reason I ended up buying the DS console in the first place, best rhythm game I've encountered and uses the touch screen functions to the fullest. Different difficulty levels to ease you up to speed, and its easy to figure it out, the story of each challenge can be understood and entertain without understanding what's written. Did I mention I love the heck out of this game?
Bought the "Elite Beat Agents" also, being an english version of the very same game in simple terms, with a new set of challanges/levels, can be considered a continuation of this one.

If you've ever played Elite Beat Agents (the American version to this game series), then I definitely recommend buying this game that started it all... Although it's Japanese don't worry, the navigation menus are practically the exact same as EBA along with the game-play itself...
The only trouble you may have, is the music... Since it's all Japanese music and new to hear, the beat and lyrics may throw you off at times... But it's worth it to get to the last song 'Ready! Steady! Go!' by L'Arc~en~Ciel (the theme to FullMetal Alchemist)... :)
