Works out of the box! 24 April 2010
I wanted to connect to my (devolo dLAN 200) wired network as iPlayer freezes regularly over my wireless link.

Bought this after a bad experience with a Lupo Wii network adapter, which didn't work at all.

Plugged it in, went thru the simple set up via internet settings menu on the Wii, and it worked straight away.

iPlayer now works perfectly.

Fun:
Could have used the inbuilt Wii wi-fi link, but I wanted the security of using a wired link from the Wii to the internet. Worth while as the first item was a large firmware update for Wii. The internet facilities on the Wii have been less of interest, although there is now some iPlayer content available that is Wii compatible.

Nice piece of kit does just what I expected it to do, just plug it in and set the connection type to wired and hay presto!

Effective
Does what is says on the box, its obviously a cheap knock-off, but its just a lan adapter, so it really doesn't matter.

Fast and secure
It offers faster and more secure internet connection than wifi, and it does its job pretty well. No more loading pauses while watching videos from the Nintendo Channel.

Works well
Didn't want to connect using wireless - so this did the trick. Conects either via a UTP cabling system back to your internet router or directly via a UTP flylead. Read more
