Nintendo 3DS Handheld Console

When the 3DS was initially released in just teal and black, I knew a pink one would eventually follow. As soon as I saw this available for pre-order, I just had to get it. It arrived today, box in perfect condition and contents stunning. The 3DS itself is a lovely shade of metallic coral/baby pink. As usual with a 3DS, it has a 3D slider so you can opt to view the top screen in 3D or 2D, an analogue stick as well as a D-pad, L and R shoulder buttons and the usual A, B, X and Y buttons. The Start and Select buttons are still there but they are now flat panels positioned below the bottom screen, along with a Home button that is reminiscent of the one on the Nintendo Wii in that it takes you to the main 3DS menu. The 3D camera is pretty impressive and there are lots of little programs you can fiddle about with stored on the 3DS system.

I have started playing the Nintendogs + Cats game that came with it and I am actually enjoying playing with Bob the beagle so far. It's a fairly simple game - you get a dog, teach it tricks, make sure it's well looked after by giving it bowls of food and water and by brushing it, take it for walks etc. Later on in the game, you can enter competitions such as frisbee and obedience, and you can eventually get a cat or more dogs once you save enough money. From playing this game it appears that the 3DS comes with an SD card already slotted into it - I was not aware of this and I'm glad I won't have to go and buy one to use some functions of this game and the 3DS.

Overall, the 3DS is fantastic and the shiny pink colour is beautiful. The game it comes with is pretty good as well. I would definitely recommend this to any gamers who like their consoles to be pink!

Bought this package for my 6 yr old daughter for Xmas - so glad I waited in hope for a pink one to be released !
Only dissapointment is that the price dropped very quickly but as I pre ordered it I paid the hgher price when it was first on sale as didn't want to wait to see if the price dropped incase I couldn't then get one for Xmas !!
Having said that the bundl works out as good value seeing as the game is around £30 - the 3ds itself is really good and find myself playing on the thing when my daughter has gone to bed !
Love the charger base for ease of charging and all the features that my previous ds lite didn't have such as a camera !
All in all very happy with this purchase and normal fast speed delivery from amazon.
If you do go for 3ds make sure you buy mario world too as an extra game which my daughter loves too !!

Pink 3ds
Wow, this product really is amazing. The colour is a really cute baby pink with a nice shine to it. Was smaller than I thought it would be but it looks and feels great. The 3DS comes with a quick start guide and a full instruction manual, as well as a docking station and charger. Also comes with AR cards that can be used in numerous different games.
Charged up quick and was really easy to set up and had no problem connecting to the internet. Once set up i created a 'Mii', and started looking at the different software already on the system. The 3DS has two built in games, Face raiders and Augmented Reality. Both these games make great use of the products features and a great little introduction to the 3D aspect. There is also an online browser, shop, camera and you can also record your voice and make different changes to the way it sounds.
I found the 3D really impressive. I've read some bad reviews about this , and how people are finding it hard to find the 3DS 'sweet spot' . But really all you need to do is look straight in the middle of the upper screen, not hard at all!. You can change the depth of 3D or turn it off completely. I played for a full hour in 3D and did not have any problems and no head aches. All in all I would recommend this to any girl who loves pink , or any boy who loves pink !

Nintendogs plus cats
This game is soooo cute . I couldn't stop playing. You first head to the kennel where you can choose your first puppy. These little guys are so realistic, you can see every fluffy hair on their body. The way they move and how each dog has its own personality is really great. I feel that Nintendo has done to great effort to get the dogs breed and the way it acts right. After choosing my first dog you get to name it by teaching it its name. You can then teach it different tricks all by using your voice. I love how you can decorate your home by adding things like dogs beds, chairs , tv's and even a piano. You can take your little friend out on walks in the mountains, towns and seaside and can meet new dogs and their owners along the way. On the walks there are shops and cafes , parks and even a gym to train to dog contests . By winning contests you can buy more doggy accessories for example collars and ribbons . I've not bought a cat yet but in the kennel they look really cute!
I feel like there is hours of fun to be had with this game and I cant wait to get my doggy winning the pro cups!.
