Fun:
The Wii may be a rather ancient platform in technology terms, but it can still serve up an enjoyable gaming experience for children and adults that just like fairly simple, but really good fun, computer games. We bought this to replace an old Wii that had finally given up the ghost after years of good service.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is one such experience. There are lots and lots of different games to play, ranging from fencing, athletics, swimming and even rhythmic gymnastics! The Wiimote is used in a variety of different ways making each game feel different.

It comes with Motion Plus controller and nunchuck, but unfortunately Wii Sports Plus is missing in this package.

We looked at buying 2nd hand, and once you added up all the bits to make this bundle it came to virtually the same price as Amazon are currently charging for brand new kit.

Treat yourself - you won't regret it.

Fun:
We bought the Wii Console (Blue) for our grand-daughter for Christmas because of its colour. We also gave her the Wii Dance Mat (Nordic Games)and The Smurfs Dance Party because she likes dance games. We didn't realise that Nintendo had changed the spec on their latest consoles so as not to have any Game Cube sockets (I think they are called this) whereas the regular Wii has a run of 4 under the top flap; this meant the Dance Mat had nothing to plug into. Going from 4 input sockets to none at all is poor and I bet we weren't the only people caught out by this strange decision. Sure we can return the Dance Mat to the store, but the damage is done as it was a Christmas present to a little girl. In all the adverts for the Blue console we read "New Slim Style" "Blue" and with "whatever game" but we never saw anything that said "Lite version" which would have made us think that perhaps it wasn't the same as a regular console. So in future to avoid disappointment my advice to all on whatever you are buying as a gift, Read the Reviews on it First.
