You are provided with 2x batteries, simply clip it on to your Wii controller and leave it on charge, red LED indicator informs you that controller is on charge, when fully charged you get a blue LED indicating full charge. I am a Wii novice and bought this for the family along with the Wii and an extra handset, for Christmas. There are very few instructions (which my daughter managed to tear up while getting the docking station out of the box). As other reviewers have said, it's quite simple: put rechargeable battery pack on the remote; Plug the USB into back of Wii and into docking station; Find the small on/off switch at back of docking station; Power on the Wii.
But ours didn't work, no blue lights.
Vendor was very helpful and sent a new device. This lit up briefly and then died. I then read the reviews of the product and therein lay the answer. YOU MUST REMOVE WRIST STRAP FROM REMOTE BEFORE SITTING IN THE DOCKING STATION AND THE RUBBER COVER. This done the blue lights lit up and you have quite an attractive charging docking station.
I will read the reviews in future.

I'm really pleased with this charger. I like that it's glossy black, so it matches my tv/wii/dvd player. The blue lights really look good with it too... but that said, they really are bright - something that you need to consider if you wii is in your bedroom,
The battery packs clicked nicely onto the wii remote, and after an overnight charge, we played for 4 1/2 hours straight before they ran out.
A good tidy gadget, that does as it promises, at a great price. Definitely recommended.

works well , holds its charge long enough for it not to annoy, lights show when its charged, what more do you need, well the instructions on the unit arent quite in good english but i can for give them for that,ill probably buy another as its the cheapest way to get the batteries.

Warning
This product is a heap of crap. The batteries can be charging for hours and only hold enough of a charge half an hours play. Do not waste your money on this.

Pretty useless really
I bought this item to save on batteries but the units never hold a charge so I am still using batteries. Another cheap solutiuon that solves nothing. You live and learn!

Don't waste your money
Don't bother , find another product , when it arrived it looked cheap and nasty . It charged one remote , without the wrist strap , only if we tilted the whole unit. Read more
