With over 2000 questions covering a wide variety of themes, all voiced by legendary Quiz Show host Roy Walker, there really is something for everyone in Quiz Party, and with an unlimited number of players you can truly put everyone’s general knowledge to the test!
It doesn’t matter what your favourite subject is, you could be asked a random selection of questions covering a varied range of themes Whether you are a whizz at History, Geography and Nature or if your knowledge is a little more current and you prefer Sport, TV and Films, there will be a question to suit everyone.
Get the game started by selecting between two and four teams and with no limit on the number of people on each team, everyone in the room can have a go. Once you have formed your team, choose your mascot which can be either your own Mii characters or one of a selection of the in game mascots to represent your team.
Featuring three entertaining game modes, Quiz Party offers you the opportunity to choose how long you want the game to last. The Normal Game mode challenges you to be the first team to collect 15 stickers, while a Flash Game requires the winning team to collect only five stickers providing a much more intense game. Finally, if your time is precious and you just want to dip in and out for a quick test of your trivia then Quick Question mode is for you.

Although the questions are interestIng and pretty up to date, it takes so long to get through them due to boring gimmicky graphics and constant score updates you very quickly lose interest. Given this was only issued a few weeks ago, I expected a flashier and pacier version of Buzz. Sadly I got something so slow and basic it felt like a game from the 90s.
I don't know why the fact you only need one controller is used as a selling point, as this actually makes it even more tedious, as you are reliant on either one person controlling the whole game, or are constantly passing it from one player to another.
Very amateurish - I wish I hadn't wasted my money on it!
I'm glad we've got the game but we're already checking other quiz game reviews to buy another.
Another issue I have is that only 1 controller is used and there isn't even a choice to play with more! So the game dictates who the question is for rather than having the more competitive element of buzzing in. So you are left with either passing the controller around or having an overall quiz master. This brings with it another issue if, like me, you have some people playing who are prone to cheating. With many of the questions you don't actually click on anything, but say the answer then click to get the answer then the game asks "did they get that question correct?" and then somebody either needs to click on 'yes' or 'no'. Cue arguments with family members about whether they actually said the right thing (my husband is quite pedantic) and 'accidental' pressing of wrong buttons.
I will admit to being a fan of buzz, and I still am...this game has only served to reinforce my love of Buzz. If you have played buzz and enjoyed it, this will really disappoint!... Read more ›
