although only 102 pages, this book contains quite a large amount of information that will be of use to someone who learning to use the manikigusari,this is the only book on the weapon I have so far found.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is a book relating to Ninjutsu. It isn't. Whilst it does cover some weapons relating to Ninjutsu, if you are looking for a book on that topic then you are going to be disappointed. Most of my Ninjutsu books take pride of place in my library - I use this one as a support for my table
